It's H's nannas wedding anniversary tomorrow. Her husband died in Oct so this is her first wedding anniversary without him in 60 years. She lives down south so we don't see her often but I think she's come up to take her mind off it a bit. We are all going out for tea tomorrow for that and mils birthday. So, do we acknowledge it? It's still her wedding anniversary even though her h is dead. Do we get a card? What type of card? Flowers? Thoughts please!

I'd get some flowers and leave it at that I think, wouldn't get a card. That's what I've done in yhe past in these situations, I think as long as you are acknowledging it it'll be appreciated no matter what you decide x

I think flowers are a lovely idea. That way you have acknowledged it without offending her. You can also then see what other peiple do so you know how to play it next year

I'd get a card as well. She's still married, just widowed. My nana would appreciate a card.
