Iv got 10lbs to loose....iv had 10lbs to loose since march I CANNOT shift it! Does anyone find the last stone or so really hard?
im a 10/12 now on the bottom and a 10 on top which is fantastic but I still need to loose those 10lbs, I'm going to really really push the diet, no/minimal alcohol and I'm going to have to exercise which I hate!
10 weeks ttill my hols, iv got loads of lovely clothes from when I used to be a 10 and iv bought some lovely stuff and I want to be able to feel great in them I CBA exercising but its the only way isn't it?!
my job is now mostly sit down too I used to do in excess of 10000 steps a day at work! Now I'm lucky I do 10

Fraid so love. Exercise and being strict is the only way you'll shift it. You could try that fasting diet, or sew your mouth shut for a couple days....

My Aunt is doing the fasting diet and has lost 4kilos in 3 weeks!! she only has a stone max to lose and she is loving the freedom of it
Sometimes mixing things up is the only was to go and yes exercising is key, but it can be anything, walking, shredding, dancing around the house like a loon
come on you can do it!!

Personally i think this diet is faddy and it all comes back to eating less, eating good and moving more - no science to it really. But I get that these diets help people shift quickly.

I can't do the 5:2 diet, it sounds perfect but I'd go berserk on my days I could eat anything, iv seen pics of a girl I went to school with on fb who's lost almost 7 stone and looks like a completely different person and she did 5:2

The 5:2 diet didn't work for me cp, I just ate way too much on the 5 "feast" days and didn't lose anything!
In 10 weeks you could lose loads if you stick to it, even having the odd treat at the weekends. x

I do a very sedentary job - if you used to be very active with lots of walking this will definitely be part of it. I try to go for a walk every lunch hour and I also use the stairs (I'm on the 6th floor). Just to keep as active as I can. Then find some exercise that you enjoy doing. (Half an hour walking is approx 100 calories burned - do that 5 times a week and thats 500 calories).
I'm with Belle - I think the fasting diet is just a fad.
Incidentally, having lost nearly 3 stone last year I have failed to lose anything this year and I do need to lose another stone really. On the plus side I haven't put it all back on again. I'm aiming to lose a bit before my holiday in August and trying to focus a lot more. Its the snacks that do it for me - they creep up over time. So I'm focusing on logging everything on MFP.

I eat well really tbf, its all the alcohol and then crisps when I have alcohol or picking at bits. I'm not going to drink for the next few weeks
Breakfast - either yoghurt and oatbran during the week,smoked salmon and scrambled egg if off work or a bacon roll if being bad
Lunch today was turkey salad,as was yesterday
Dinner - last night was chicken marinaded in chilli and lime and coriander tonight was beef kebabs

See you really are good with food. It's not like you can cut back on carbs as apart from the roll you've not listed any. I'd double / triple / quadrouple your water in take. Cut the booze completely - although this is really hard in the sun! and get your ass into exercise mode.
Cedar I work on the 4th and have been taking the lift....watch me start doing the stairs now. Every little helps.

Yes I'm steering clear of booze.
Iv found carbs really make me bloated (although eat crisps/crackers and cheese no probs lol)
I'm really going to try sooooooo hard to get it all off for holiday.

When do you fly out? We fly on 19 Aug, I'm back in the shredding zone. Need to work my legs and belly before i get my bikini on.

16 aug, I want to be under goal weight for going though so I can have loads of lovely food (and obv wine/alcohol) while I'm away!
