Every time I'm in work I have Heinz Chicken and Noodle soup. I've had it today and that's it, I'm sick of it and can't take anymore of it. Its only 124 calories per tin which is great but I'm still starving.
What low calorie lunches do you have for work? Inspire me please.

I used to make soup: chicken and noodle with tons of veg so it felt like a meal, carrot & coriander. Both really low cal as just veggies. Otherwise I'd buy sushi or a ramen.
Salads - cous cous is high calories but very filling. Or your bog standard leaf salad with ham / cheese / tuna...
Do you want to make or buy?

I would want to make. I'm not sure I like cold cous cous but suppose I could cook it at work.

I don't think I've ever had it hot. Do you like salads?

Yeah but I'm really boring with them. I only tend to have lettuce, cucumber, cherry tomatoes and peppers so they get boring pretty quickly.

pasta mug shots are pretty low in calories, hummus with carrot and celery sticks, salmon or prawn salad

CW I'm really picky with food, I don't like hummus or celery or salmon or prawn but I'll have a look at the mug shots, are the the ones in the packet? Like a cuppa soup?

thats the ones, i had them when on SW as they are free!!

All those foods sound like they are packed with salt and other ***.

what the mugshots? nope they are pretty healthy

I'm really lazy so I like Asda soup mix. It needs a bit of prep. fresh chopped veg in a bag that you boil, add a stock cube and then blend. they do a carrot and coriander etc. I sometimes add a bit more veg to bulk it out.
The very thought of them makes me gag. Like meat in a tin

Belle I'm not really bothered about the salt etc, its only 2 days of the week. I'll have a look out for them when I go to Asda tomorrow and also get some nice salad stuff.
What kind of things do you put in your salads that will keep you full for the afternoon? I find if I don't have some kind of carbs with salad them I'm hank all afternoon but if I add the carbs then that adds the calories.

I eat lots of beetroot with salad. not the vinegar stuff but the vacuum pack fresh stuff. that's quite filling. I don't know what points it would be on WW but it's free on SW.

I like cous cous, rice or noodle salads, prawns, feta, chicken breasts, boiled egg. I love a mix of leaf with peppers, carrots, cucumber, tomatoes and balsamic vinegar. Yum! I love salads.

I love salads so stick to them mostly.
I love cous cous, chicken, prawns, cottage cheese, and always add in a variety of things such as lettuce, rocket, celery, radishes, spring onion, red onion, coleslaw, postato salad, new potatoes, beetroot, pickled onions, cabbage, carrot, basically anything salady!

Weigh out couscous or rice then you won't be tempred to add too much. Protein will help you feel fuller - so something like boiled egg or chicken are good for this. I love a Greek style salad with feta cheese and olives. I also have baby spinach leaves or a sprinkling of nuts, sweet potato (cooked and chopped up). Tabbouleh (sp) with bulgar wheat, tomatos cucumber and chopped mint.
