Just wondering how your weigh in was this week Counter,
Both H and I need to loose weight and so are now starting in ernest. We are also thinking about getting an exercise bike. I have walked to the library with my son twice this week already.

Hi WF. Yeah, not that great. Home scales say 10lbs off. I joined Slimming world a bit after my first home weigh-in, and SW was a 6lb then a 1lb. I went off the rails on Sunday! I'm enjoying eating healthier. The other day I had 11 fruit portions and 3 veg. I feel miles better. Just need to keep at it, and stay off the wine :)
Love walking, keep it up! How about food? Do you tend to eat healthily already?

I tend to eat reasonably healthy most of the time but I do have weaknesses mainly just eating too much. I also love cheese and definately eat too many carbs. Have bought some crisp bread to try and help cut down on the bread front. I am back cooking from scratch which helps. Got lots of salad in so that's good. Don't normally have deserts but if we have biscuits and chocolates in the house and open the packet I will snaffle them, so have to just avoid having them in the house. Unfortunately the senior technician keeps on giving me chocolate as her MIL wins it at her sheltered accommodations BINGO. I am going to just have to give the chocolate away. I hate wastage so it looks like I may be making banana bread with our son again not great for the waste line. Weirdly I seem to have lost a Pineapple. Bought it last Saturday but can't find it in the house or car so it is very bizzare. I am also aware that I comfort eat. However being aware of the issues is the first step to changing things for the better. We had a Glorious skinny Rio Carnival soup for lunch as it was on special offer. It tasted awesome and was on special in Asda for a £1. Breakfast wasn't very healthy, nor was tea which was sausage casserole with jacket potatoe, green pointed cauliflower and carrots.
