I'm considering signing up for one of these as I've lost my diet mojo and desperately need it back! Interested to hear your experiences of either and how you got on, especially if you were breastfeeding at the time.

I lost 2 stone in 12 wks on WW online at the start of the year, I found it quite easy to follow. However over the summer I lost interest and put a stone back on! I've recently joined a SW group on FB and am loosely following SW but not going to classes or anything as I can't really afford it at the moment, I've lost 4 lbs in 2 weeks.

I was a WW girl for many many years but my weight was always up and down. I got bored with it and joined SW 6 weeks ago and have lost 11.5lbs so far. Its coming off slower than WW but hopefully it will be harder to put it back on. I much prefer SW. You are never hungry and it makes you eat more fruit n veg. You can eat pasta and potatoes in unlimited quantities too - you are never hungry x

I'd always done ww but got bored of it and joined SW about 1 month ago and have lost 9lbs (went on holiday and put 4 back on but have lost it all so I suppose iv lost 13 in a round about way lol)

I've done both and prefer the SW diet. A lot more flexible and easy with the family etc.
There's an unofficial slimming world group on FB where a lot of people who can't / don't go to meetings use and there are loads of ideas on there.
I've lost 1st 9lb on SW but only been following it loosely.

I have been doing WW for 18 months, I reached my goal last christmas and I still go, I am currently trying to lose what I gained over the summer! I don't think it makes a difference which you do, I like the WW plan but I know people like SW but most people do well on either! I would say though if you can go and be weighed and get to meetings they are good for keeping you on track.
Maisie Moo, you eat tons of fruit and veg on WW too.

Thanks for the replies ladies. I'm veering towards Weight Watchers at the moment as the online membership is a lot cheaper and one of my friends is doing it too so could go to meetings with her if I'm free. Just need to try something different to get myself motivated again!

Oh, to add, I was breastfeeding when I started at WW and you get extra points to ensure you eat enough.x

I'm a WW girl. In the past year I've lost 3 stone but that has been with a few months following the plan and then a few months off and then getting back on it again. It's very easy to follow. I've tried SW before but it doesn't suit me as much as WW does as when I did it you needed to cook from scratch a lot more whereas with WW I can eat what I want, I just need to point it.
