Not a good sign is it?
Each room we walked into they walked straight through into the next one. I know they were viewing a lot of houses this weekend so assume thye have found the one they want already

Oh no that doesn't sound good sorry QI. What a shame. I suppose you never know they may just be that type of viewer?

When we were viewing houses, like them we had lots to get through in a particular time, so we just had a quick look around the houses and then chose the ones we wanted to look more into.
Fingers crossed thats the way that they are doing it too x

That's hopeful Suzie as I know they had lots booked in to see.
The woman ketp cooing about how big it was as they were going round so that's positive isn't it?

When we looked around our house, we were in and out in under 5 minutes.
As soon as we walked in, we loved it.

Oh good, it seems like everyone else is different to me! If it were me, I'd be spending ages looking around everything but then I've never had loads of houses to look around in one day I guess. It still sounds like it could be hopeful QI, especially if they were saying how big it was! Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

The house that we ended up buying, i was literally only in the house a few minutes and knew it was the one. A couple of days later we made a second appointment.
Obviously not wanting to get your hopes up though. But really have everything crossed for you x

I have never second viewed a house, I make up my mind more or less instantly so a 5 minutes scout about is right up my street! I research the area, home report etc upfront You just never know.

We had one woman who spent ages looking at our house (was on her own so no one to discuss things with) wanted to know how the fire worked, where meters were, even looked in the understair cupboard. Didn't put in an offer! so being there a long time doesn't mean an offer either! Good luck.

When we Viewed our house it was the last appt of about ten that day. We pulled up outside and h joked that he'd wait in the car. I can't remember how long we were there, but like others have said we knew in minutes. We played it cool with the owner, didn't let on how we felt as h had warned me to play my cards close to my chest to put us in a stronger negotiating position, his logic being that if they knew we loved it, they wouldn't budge on the price. Hope you get a call god a second viewing.

When we viewed our house we were the same. They were genuinely shocked when we put an offer in. Good luck.

I'd know straight away if I liked a house too and wouldn't give much away! We had a lady who was at our flat for hours even wanting to know the bin days, how often the recycling was collected and measuring the gap for her fridge etc and she wasn't interested in the end! Fingers crossed for you!!

They are coming round tonight at 6pm for a second viewing - although they have been warned the children will be present!
08/04/2013 at 16:21
Woo hoo! Fingers crossed for you then

Great news they're coming round again! I too would be disheartened by such a short visit, but some people just know if they like something, and like you say they were looking at lots of places yesterday.
Loads of positive vibes for a good viewing tonight!
