I like number 3 wf - that makes it on to my list every time but I never get around to it! How old is your LO, is he on a balance bike or one with stabilisers?
My plans are to do a mountain of ironing, make a pile of greetings cards and then help H move our stuff into the spare room so we can start renovating our own room - just painting and replacing the carpet with laminate flooring.

Aww good luck to your little boy WF! I still remember going to the park to practice riding a bike without stabilisers, I felt like a big kid!
We've got a mortgage appointment tomorrow morning and probably some more obsessive rightmove checking to see if there's any possible houses that we've missed. I'm taking S to my mums to see my nan for lunch too. No plans for Sunday, but at some point over the weekend we're also going to try S on a bit of purée which is exciting/scary!

Tayto are you crafty as you are making greetings cards. I never get time to craft now.
My son loved his balance bike when he was younger. He never really coped on the bike with stabiliser, During the summer we took the stabilisers off and then last Sunday he wanted to try again and little by little he got it. Initially in the garden then took him to the park. We went to the park again on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Flossy hope the mortgage appointment goes well and you have a nice time at your mums for lunch with nan.

WF - yes I am or rather more of a craft hoarder! I do all sorts of paper-craft. I rarely have time but try to set time aside on the odd evening or weekend as I find it so therapeutic! Hope your son enjoys the practising!
Flossy - good luck with the mortgage app & enjoy your lunch

Tayto I made all my wedding invites, and order of services, thank you cards, my bridesmaids were finishing off the table plan's on the morning of the wedding. This is the only time I have made cards. I used to sew a lot and I hoard fabric. One Christmas I worked in John Lewis fabric section. When my son was born I bought an overlocker. Haven't sewn in ages, except sewing on name tags on uniforms, repairing stuff. The last bigger job was letting out trousers part of a suit for a wedding we went to. I have also made padded hangers. Before I worked full time I went on a couple of flower arranging courses and jewelery making courses free through our local sure start. I enjoy both flower arranging and making jewelery. Crafting can be very therapeutic. I want to relearn to crochet and learn how to knit.

wow, you've done a lot of crafts - I'm not a 'proper' crafter as such - it's card making and papercrafts that are my main craft interests.

I think card making and papercrafts are super. One of my friends makes all her own cards and they are lovely. What sort of cards are you making this weekend. The only reason I have tried a lot of crafts is that opportunities came up. A friend decided the year before last she needed a new years resolution, she thought either being nice to people or learning to crochet. She went for the crochet as she said she wouldn't be able to keep the resolution of being nice to people. She still crochets now. She started by crocheting flowers.

haha, I actually laughed out loud at the resolution one, sounds just like something I'd say! My mum is excellent at crocheting and has tried to teach me loads of times. I've managed a few flowers but I never really feel the same satisfaction with other crafts that I do with card making. So far today, I've made an anniversary card for my sis, a 1st birthday card for my nephew, a birthday card for my hubby, a birthday card for my other sis and a birthday card for my FIL which is the one I'm most proud of today so I'll flash it here:
It's a technique called twisted pyrimage which is a pain to get right!

Today the weather was lovely so me, H and the kids went for a bike ride along the sea front, stopped at the park, kids had an ice cream, rode a bit more, stopped at another park then back home. H took J to the Sunderland v Tottenham match earlier on while E went to the park with her friend so I've had a quiet afternoon.
H nightshift tonight, kids playing on their friends trampoline and I'm catching up on soaps. Will be watching X Factor with the kids later on.
Tomorrow usual football and dancing, need to go food shopping then kids going to PIL for the afternoon, me and H will go to the gym and have my mam's Sunday dinner. H nightshift again tomorrow night so no plans.

Tayto, you sound like you have had a very productive day crafting. I love the card you made for your FIL.
Snow White how lovely you live near the sea, glad the weather has been good. Hope you enjoyed your quiet afternoon.
Managed to do most of the things I hoped to do. The only two left are tidying and taking son on bike ride. Not sure he will be going on a bike ride tomorrow as he had a bit of a melt down at the party.
Since coming home from the party I have shared a nice fruit cider with H.
Tomorrow we will go to Church in the morning. Got a chicken for lunch. I also have youth group in the evening.
