i amsteam struggling to think what I can get my mum for Mother's Day, I've so far thought of chocolates and smellies? What are you getting your mums?

Oo, I don't know. Maybe a pamper voucher?

We are already going for a spa day, but I could always get another spa voucher too

We only buy token gifts for Mother's Day/Father's Day so will probably be a nice bunch of flowers.

Token gifts here too, and we go out for lunch or I cook for the family. Think it will be me cooking this year as we're out for big family lunch the following weekend.

I've made my Mum a bracelet and earring set. Thinking about making a necklace too.

I got my dad this from N for Father's Day last year so may do the same for my mum:

A few ago I got my mum a Migilo necklace - they are necklaces you can adapt by adding different pendants etc. so I've bought her a new pendant & I'll cook dinner. Debating whether or not to do it at our house & invite mil or go to my parents & do it there, letting H & his mum tear on. We don't really get on & she started a row about 6 months b4 our wedding so we didn't speak for about 3 & my dad has hated her ever since lol.

I have got her a nice bubble bath and skin cream set. We generally do small gifts for mother's/father's day. In the past I have got my mum flowers, a pot with bulbs in, books, toiletries, a mug and some tea bags, magazine subscription, pretty notepaper.

Just speaking to sil about this as we might go halves one season ticket to the local country park for her but not sure if that's a bit cheeky as its primarily so she can take our kids there!

Probably a potted flowering plant or a nice photo of the kids in a posh frame.

We haven't got tons of cash so will most likely be a token gift here too....I know my Mum has a VHS of camcorder footage that includes my Nan (her Mum) who died a few years back. She doesn't have a VHS player these days so I'm thinking I will get it ripped to DVD for her because of the sentimental value IYSWIM x

Normally just flowers & a card. We don't really do mother's day/fathers day in our family.

I'm hoping we can make something as we are totally strapped for cash.
