I'm currently reading The Hunger Games Catching Fire. I'm enjoying it just as much as the first one.

I'd like to read Girl Gone, I think it's called, when I've finished The Hunger Games. Anyone read it?

I've not read that.  I'm currently reading the Ice Cream girls, by Dorothy Koomson i think her name is.  It's coming to ITV at some point so i'm hoping i finish the book before then.  It's very good.

I'm reading Gone Girl at the moment - I'm only 20% of the way through it but enjoying it so far, it's a bit different! Have also just read a few by Peter James and a couple by Jojo Moyes and enjoyed them all!

I loved the Hunger Games trilogy!

Currently reading Falling Star by Diana Dempsey - I downloaded a load of the free books for the Kindle the other day and this was one of them, it's ok as something easy to read.

I've read the Hunger Games Trilogy and the Ice Cream Girls - loved them! I'm currently reading Virtual Strangers by  Lynne Barrett-Lee, it was a Kindle freebie and is OK but not as good as some other Kindle freebies I've read recently.

I'm currently reading My Best Friend's Girl by Dorothy Koomson. I read the Ice Cream Girls one before and saw it so picked it up. It's okay, not as good as the other one but to be air it's taken me months to read it because I haven't had any time, usually I finish something in a couple of days.

I've read this, but not The Ice Cream Girls. Like you, I thought it was fine, but not amazing, so it's put me off bothering with Ice Cream - after all your recs I will though!

Love The Hunger Game trilogy, I really enjoyed all of them.

I'm currently reading The Eyre Affair, but can't get into it, have been reading it for about a month and only 150 pages in which isn't like me at all. It's not awful, but I'm just not really gripped and am finding it a bit silly so far.

Will have to check out Girl Gone. I recently read Jojo Moyes too - Me before You, and thought it was brilliant - total tear jerker though!

I've read that and most of Jasper Fforde's other books too - I quite like them, and the silliness!

DD - I will have to give it a proper chance then, as I had heard good things and you know when you're not that in to something, you don't always give it enough attention? Will try again this weekend!

WG - Think you will like Me Before You - really easy reading, but done so well and the story is brilliant.

I'm almost embarrassed to admit it but I'm reading the Midnight Breed series by Lara Adrian- it's like Twilight meets 50 shade of Grey, perfect trashy reading at 3am when in up with J.

I'm also reading the original Three Muskateers series by Alexander Dumas, took me ages to find the original story and not the re-worked version, it's hard going which is why I break it up with my Vampire trash!

I've been reading When Everything Changed: The Amazing Journey of American Women from 1960 to the Present by Gail Collins. It's very interesting, and funny in places, thought provoking in others. It does make you realise how far society has changed in their attitude to women, and how much women today have to thank those who broke new ground before us. I's like to read  asimilar one about the UK, but not sure if it exists.

I've also recently read The Boy with the Topknot: A Memoir of Love, Secrets and Lies in Wolverhampton by Sathnam Sanghera, which is really good also.

Id recommend Ice cream girls, and hunger games. I enjoyed those too.

I'm currently reading a book called The Submission which is a novel about a memorial for the victims of 9/11 which I got given in a Literary Festival goody bag.

Dorothy Koomson fans, I was lucky enough to meet her and do a Q&A with her at one of the aforementioned Literary Festivals.  She's thoroughly lovely and very down to earth.... I must get round to reading one of her books soon!  :-)
