We are going to have our hallway redecorated next week. I need inspiration for colours. It is currently magnolia and a very pale brownish colour on different walls. I'd like to brighten it up more. The initial part is wide(ish). We have double doors at the front and then in narrows down to the kitchen once you get past the stairs.
So what colour(s) do you have?

What colours do you have in the adjoining rooms? If they're clearly visible from the hall id be tempted to use a complimenting colour. In this house it's just magnolia as we can't paint (married quarters) but in my house before here I had a mushroomy mocha colour with white woodwork and silver accessories such as mirror and sparkly lightshade

Ours is like a wet plaster kind of colour. Not red, not pink, not cream, not brown. Like sandstone maybe? Anyway I'm wanting to do it cream or magnolia to brighten it up, it's too dark.

Ours is green, a lighter shade of the same one we have in the living room. It needs a repaint though!

I'm in love with the paint in our hallway which is called Lady Grey and is from Homebase. It's a light-ish grey colour but has a blue-ness about it. Goes lovely with the white wood and wooden floors.

Ours is daffodil yellow, its quite a dark hallway so this brightens it up nicely

Ours is currently boring cream, but I quite like it as its bright.
