I'm rubbish and only do one pilates class a week. I do stuffer with my knees so have to be careful with what I do, I really need to be more active and lose weight and get rid of my belly, big bums and thighs. So what exercise do you do and what do you recommend.
because of my knees I can't do, running, rowing machine, squats or anything that puts pressure on my knees. I could do walking and If I went swimming I can only do front crawl and not breast stroke because for the leg movement with my knees

I work with 3 - 5 year olds. I live with a 6 and 4 year old - that's enough exercise for me!
3 days a week I do the school and playgroup walks in different directions, so that's 20 mins fast walking 3 or 4 times a day on those days.
I swim - well sort of flap about in the leisure pool, and we spend a lot of time wandering around in fields and forests at weekends!
No formal sort of proper exercise though, which is probably what I need, but I don't feel unfit.
I love swimming. Could you do backcrawl? I find that easier than front crawl for sort of keeping fit swimming.

I walk when and where i can and try to do the shred dvd as often as i can.

I walk extensively as part of my job. I do kettlebell workouts, run and do a number of exercise DVD's.
I would think swimming would probably be your best bet. Could you try an aqua aerobics class?

I go to the gym 4 times a week. When I'm there I do an hour's cardio, I mix it up so it includes running, stepper, cross trainer and bike and I also use weights for toning and do squats and lunges. I don't think anything I do will suit you due to your knees being bad. I think swimming and lots of walking would suit you.

Lots of walking at work, and I do 2 miles a day of walking three days a week for the school run - this will go up to 3 miles a day 5 days a week in September. We also walk a lot as a family at the weekend. I swim with #2 once a week, and pre-pregnancy, I ran two or three times a week, plus occasional shredding/Zumba.

I walk everywhere that's it. I will be re-starting a Jillian DVD next week though!
