Sorry for the multiple question marks, but what on earth is the point of Liam getting a pile of Christmas cards from nursery & play school? He can't read, can't write & doesn't even look at them. Grrrr, as if I haven't got enough to do!

C's had a few (3 in total so far, although another 3 days nursery before Christmas), and we were going to write some for him, but I decided not to bother in the end.

Well I am one of the ones that is guilty. B wants to send Christmas cards and because of that U who is only 2 wanted to send them to her nursery friends. Pointless but I did it to please her. When B was two he didn't send any because he had no concept of it. U hasn't received any back and gets over excited over all the ones B gets and we get through the post. She carried her b'day cards with her everyhwere. I wonder if it is a second child thing?

My middle child is 4 and was so delighted today with his 2 cards and looked at the pictures and was really pleased to hang them up next to his brothers' cards. He hasn't sent any back yet, I have got him writing his name in them (a box from the Pound shop) but I think he's only done about 6 and there's 32 children in his class! Better get a move on!

QI - I think you're right there about the second child thing. My eldest would have had hardly any idea about christmas cards at the same age.

I agree kelfi. I'm a bugger for chucking things anyway I hate hoarding so something like that I wouldn't even bother doing. If they want to and had an interest fair enough

Yep, that's different tho, they can write & understand it. QI, U will just want to copy B. next year, I think we'll have fun doing them, however, not now. He got them at nursery when he was 14 months lol lol
