Cut in half length ways. Take out the seeds, then where the seeds were put in a tin of tomatoes, cherry tomatoes and cover with cheese, then put it in the oven for aprox 40mins. YUM!!

Ahh darling MooMooBear My children are dairy intolerant and my son and I can't eat tomatoes as they cause a nasty reaction. But other than that it was a fabulous idea

Randomly last night a friend told me the best way to eat marrow chop in half length ways, scoop out seeds, add sausage meat& onions& cook in oven for 40 -50 mins dependent on size of marrow.

Will try that Raincloud.
MooMooBear - it causes so many problems all the cheap and easy meals are dairy and tomato based it is soooo frsutrating! Plus we all love these foods, just they don't love us

The only thing i have ever done with a marrow is stick it in a veggie curry. My neighbour used to give them to us all of the time and I was not inventive at all!

My mil makes me this when its in season for my Sunday dinner instead of meat.
Peel off skin, cut off ends and scoop innards out. Make a filling of packet stuffing (she uses sage and onion), very tiny chopped peppers, red yellow and green, courgette or any other veg would work. Stuff, cover marrow in butter, plonk ends back on, wrap in cling film and cook roughly for 45-1hr at 180 iirc. Basically until marrow is soft.
