4 weeks ago my Uncle was admitted into hospital with a bad water infection, 3 weeks ago he was diagnosed with cancer, the disease was so advanced their was no option for any treatment, only pain relief. Last Tuesday he died. It's his funeral on Thursday and I am not sure what to wear. I am HUGE and hate going out and I would prefer to just stay home but I need to go. What can I wear? I have black trousers and black shoes, everything else I own is baggy and trampy.

I'm sorry but unless you know anyone that can lend you something, it sounds like you're going to have to buy something. If you don't want to go shopping I believe next do next day delivery... sorry about your uncle x

Ah sweetheart, so sorry
Wish you'd said early you could borrowed something maybe. Any similar sized friends to ask? Can you afford a new cardi? That over a vest and black trousers will be fine. Apply some subtle make up and add subtle jewellry, do your hair, you'll be fine. And really hope it goes ok, will be thinking of you.

Sorry to hear about your uncle. That top is nice not frumpy atal and would be nice with jeans for more wear. Good luck for the funeral x

Sorry to hear your sad news. I attended a funeral on Thursday. I wore a black dress with cardi, nude tights and black shoes. Sil wore a black suit, mil wore a black coat which she kept on in church and only removed at the wake, she was wearing smart but not black clothes. It won't really matter what you are wearing, its your presence that will be important I'm sure.
