Just thinking from another thread.
I haven't got much from childhood. Mum told me one of the Fisher Price toys C was playing with was mine! Couldn't believe she's kept it as she's not that sentimental! And it all works too.
I have a crocheted hanky from my Grandma. She's been gone nearly 20 years, but I can smell it and I smell her.
Most recently, I kept a mayo sachet from mine and the MF's first date.
Tell me your oldest, most unusual, more recent ... any x

I have kept all of C's wires and tubes from when he was in hospital as a newborn. Some people wouldn't want the memories, but for me, they kept my boy alive.
I have the read out from an ECG machine that my Step Dad was hooked up to, when he was having a heart attack (and sadly died). It was on my Mums living room floor, along with lots of other medical stuff the rapid response paramedics had left behind. I cleared up before my Mum got back, and for some reason, couldn't chuck the read out.

I don't know if she's still got them but my mam had a box filled either all mine and my sister's school writing books and pictures. I haven't really got anything unusual or old. H has got a bottle of beer which his Nana bought when he was born and it was the queens jubilee or something - he says he's going to drink it on his 100th birthday.

I have the racecard from Oxford Dogs from the night H and I met, I don't think he knows I've kept it!

I have my grandads golf hat and the stretchy thugs that he used to keep his sleeves up! Always reminded me of Him x

I have my positive pregnancy test too! Always thought it was weird before and didn't intend to keep it but just haven't been able to throw it away. Also got E's plastic cord clamp that fell off. Oh and not sentimental really but in a box somewhere I've got my thumbnail that fell off when I was 10 and slammed my thumb in the porch door. No idea why! Gross.

I've got tests from all of mine.
I've got a cupboard full of letters from when I was a teenager from various people, friends from school and boyfriends. I have diaries from when I was 13-16 as well, they're so funny.
I also keep weird nik nak things from people who are important to me, drawings, letters, tickets etc.

I've got the champagne corks from me and H's engagement party. I've also got O's umbilical cord on the shelf in the nursery and I've kept the letters H used to send to me after we first met in the mid-90s.

I've got all the teeth I lost as a child in a pot. There must be about 15 of them, some of them have got the roots on them where I had to have them removed by the dentist. I used to write a note to the tooth fairy asking her to leave me my tooth rather than taking it away with her when she left me money.
I always used to think that when I was old and needed false teeth that they'd be able to use them
Oh and I also have E and S's cord clips, S's does still have some umbilical cord on it too

Chids! I wouldn't be able to sleep with a pot of teeth in the house. Ew!
