I'm out with my new work tomorrow night to a bar in Manchester which is casual (ie nice surroundings and casual not old man pub, wearing track suits casual ),
so what will I wear? Skinny jeans, top and blazer and heels or dress?
my wwyd, would you drink? for 2 reasons I'm thinking I might have 1 and just drive Because a) I'm doing really well there, really enjoying it...so are they really ready to meet drunk cp yet? And b) its £30 home in a taxi so is it best just to drive?
they are meeting at 8 so the last train is 11.20 so would I honestly be able to go and have drinks and definitely be on that train? I really don't want to spend £30 in a taxi back. Also was considering asking fil to come and pick me up which he's done before so long as we stop off at a kebab shop but I'm not sure he will as since mil died he's been a bit all over the place.

Ok.....I'd wear jeans, top and heels. I would drink too as its your first night out on the town with your new lot, have a laugh with them, show them your non professional side. I'd make sure I was on the last train home, and not ask FIL for a lift at this time. The train also means you won't get too plastered which eases your worries about getting smashed in front of your new work colleagues.

I'm with 1st here, jeans blazer and £30 home. Let your hair down and really get to know everyone, enjoy it! Just think what would your H spend on a football ticket, before booze, pies and a bovrol ;-)

Jeans and top vote here, I'd probably aim for last train but if I was having a good time stay out and get taxi. Then you can kind if measure your enjoyment and time out without being pressured
