I know its a while off but its already on my mind what to wear! Its at St Pauls Cathedral , but in a London pub after for a good ole' knees up! Oh, and I can't spend too much either as I need to get the boys outfits too. I keep thinking that it could be really hot, or it could be peeing down!

Oh and I have shoes like this (but in a suede-y type material) that I'd quite like to wear as they fit me nicely and actually feel comfy
But its not essential to wear the shoes, just something I have.

I'd just go for a shift dress which always look dressy IMO, with a wrap if warm or blazer if cool.
Oh and fascinator!

If it was me I would probably get myself into Monsoon or onto their website as a starter. I love their dresses and can usually be found in one at a wedding. I then sell them on ebay and get a good bit of money back.
This sounds like I do it all the time! Although in reality it has been about three or four times.

I'm a strong believer in accessories changing an outfit and that a "cheaper" dress can be made to look good with the right accessories. A quick look on DPs and theres a few things that might be suitable?
This but change the belt to a different colour (red?) to add a bit of extra colour
Lace dress (available in a few different colours)

I would be looking for a dress you can wear with tights or without.
Shift dresses work as long as you accesroise correctly.
Those shoes would be fine.

Thanks all good idea 1st baby about finding something that will work ok with or without tights. You never know what the weather will do. Like those thanks GB, also liking the idea of a shift dress... I've never worn one maybe I need bigger boobs to make it hang nicely?!

Saw a nice shift dress in Sainsburys today for £28! Kind of beigey background with a sort of black lacey pattern - would work with your black shoes.
