As the title really, I'm dieting (again) tonight is a treat but don't want to go nuts! I usually have breast of chicken curry and split the fried rice, extra curry sauce and chips with hubby but that would probably be a weekends worth of calories *sigh*
Inspire me please...

Thanks Carole that would be great if you could, no rush

Oooh brilliant I like the sound of that. Thank you!

obviously the dishes with batter are high cal and I pressume the sweet sauces like chilli or sweet and sour sauce have lots of sugar in them

Yes I think you're right and all my faves seem high calorie! Clearly how I managed to pile on 5 extra stone...

Noodles are pretty good as well, better than most rice dishes if they are fried as they don't absorb the oil in the same way.

In sure mushroom chow me in was something like 3pp but chicken chow me in was 9 I think. Salt and pepper chicken woukd be good as its just chicken garlic and chilled but the obviously you need noodles/rice unless you could have it with seaweed/bean sprouts then it would be virtually nothing

Wow so there's actually alot more choice than I thought, thanks Pip and CP, I like all of the above (there's not alot of food I don't like unfortunately for me)
knew MD would have the answer, thanks again

With ww like CP said the chow mein can be as low as 4PP whereas an egg fried rice was something like 18PP, a lot of difference!

I think chicken with mushrooms is meant to be lower fat
01/02/2013 at 14:21
Wow that is a massive difference, I dread to think how many calories is in our usual!
Thanks YoYo I will be spoilt for choice later
