Hi - I'm a stay at home mum and it certainly was a factor in deciding to have baby number 2 sooner rather than later. DS will be 2 when baby arrives - which was actually closer than we were anticipating as fell pregnant month one of ttc! Anyway, when DS was 15 months I certainly wasn't ready either, then all of a sudden a couple months later I felt ok with the idea, and figured I had another 9 months to get used to it!

Good luck whatever you decide, it does feel wierd knowing I will probably not be working for so long, although had intended to try to work part time when youngest started free childcare at 3 - although now DAvid Cameron is in power that may not be an option!x
