Random question but after some new curtains for our bedroom and my brains just gone blank! Looked at Dunelm Mill, John Lewis, and to be honest, I think thats about it. Want a pair that are going to last a long time..... and anywhere that does good black out curtains! (nice designs, etc). Thanks :)

Ahh thanks Dolly! I've just looked and found some :-D We just want something neutral - as its too hard to find some that match our flowery bed linen without being OTT!

Do you think I'm right with thinking neutral? House décor has never been a strong point of mine.

Sorry Pepperoni you match your curtains to bed linen? How many sets of the same linen do you have? I have tons of dfferent duvet covers in various patterns colours shades. Thankfully my curtains are neutral - champagne colour.

Belle - We only have one set of bed linen... don't ask! The one I put a URL for is our second set that I'm intending to buy. Our current set is very similar but more cream than blue - all I meant by the curtains is I'm drawn to all the floral patterns but trying to avoid going down that road as I know all our bed linen now and in the future will be very similar and it will all clash! At the moment we have a neutral pair from Dunelm, but they've fell to bits hence needing replaced. They were just a pair to get us by until we replaced them.

Ah I see.....do you have a big tumble dryer?

I'm glad you see as I read back my reply and thought that made absolutely no sense!!!! I guess I was asking in my second post on this whether people would stick with neutral for mostly floral bed linen! Belle, yes, we do, and a lot of patience when wanting to go to bed and they still aren't dry yet.... Grrrr! I blame H, we have a super king bed PLUS he will only have 100% cotton bed linen so a new set can end up costing a fair bit!

I'm a fake tan addict so ruin all outr bed linen. Supermarket and Matalan jobbies here
I'd stick with neutral or maybe something with an irridescent type floral pattern in?

I got the best bargain in their store this week, a rug reduced from £150 to £30!! It was ex display, a quick going over with the vax though and its like brand new!! I could spend a fortune in there!
