C's always saying about different children at his nursery/pre-school but then another time he says he doesn't like them.
How do we decide who to invite? Should I just go on who he says (he'll be 4, and changes his mind weekly, or will just give me names of all of them!), or ask his nursery to give me a list of those he plays with the most??

How many can you invite? I' speak to nursery and ask them who his mates are and who he plays with most if your limited on numbers.

We've already got about 8 before we start asking nursery, and can't really have more than 20 party for their restrictions, and also the cost.
I asked them last year for a list (although there were people on the list who I'd never even heard mentioned before or since!), but wasn't sure if we should just go on his word since he's older now.

I ask nursery and invite my friends children, have to invite family and neighbours as well. I would struggle with only being about to invite 20, he has 10 cousins.

I'll ask them then Thanks both for reassuring me, I'm just so indecisive!
Kellfi - C only has one cousin who's 17, although I do have lots of cousins with children a similar age (about 10 I think) - we invited them all last year when it was just in a hall so was just the cost of the extra food, but since I hardly see them and only had one return invitation that we couldn't go to as we were away, I'm not bothering this year - plus then we wouldn't be able to invite the people he's actually asked to come.

Yep, that sounds lots better to me, unfortunately, Liam see's his cousins a lot and they have to be invited ha!

I bet if C had loads of cousins we'd see them a lot too, shame he doesn't really, and the way things are with my brothers and SIL, it's not likely to change unfortunately.
