I'm in a lovely cheery mood this morning. It's going to be a scorcher today, just a shame I'm at work. I'm meeting a very old friend for lunch today which I'm looking forward to. We used to live & work together when I was 17 then we had a massive falling out over boyfriends - we dated brothers! I bumped into her mum a while back and turns out she'd been looking for me on FB but didn't know my married name. Shame we've only got an hour to catch up but it's a start.
Tonight I'll be exercising, sorting laundry and the house out, then dinner and bit of TV.
Tomorrow I'm giong to see my nana. She had a fall recently and has broken her arm so has carers visintg 4 times a day to help tae care of her. I think she's resigned herself to the fact she needs to go into sheltered accommodation which has upset me loads. My nana is getting old 85 and she's finally lost her independence. In the afternoon we're taking L to the park to just run about and chill then we will have dinner out somewhere. The girls will be out & about doing their thang.
Sunday CurlyWurly and I are taking the teens holiday shopping. God help us. The hottest day of the year and we will be stuck in a shopping centre for hours. I've warned CW I will be in a right old strop and we need to shop fast H is taking L to see Despicable Me 2, then back home to play in the garden til we get back.

Nothing too exciting, a weekend of house work, and probably grandparent visiting. I need to take some shoes back to Debenhams, and i'll have a look for something to go with the top I brought yesterday. I hate town shopping though at the weekend, especially when I've got the double buggy, so I might see if my friend is free then I can take the two single pushchairs and she can push one of them

Sounds like a lovely weekend Belle, I really want to watch Despicable me 2!! Hope you're nana is ok, it's hard watching your grandparents becoming less able - I know my Grandad's going to have to do something soon, he's 93 and still lives on his own, although two of his sons live on the same road and my Dad isn't far away and visits a lot.

Completely forgot to write what I'm doing!!
Working from home today, will go over to my parents to work from there this afternoon so I get to see C as well (just packed him off with my Dad), then I've got rehearsal tonight.
Tomorrow I'm off to the races for my friend's hen do, can't wait! We're meeting at another friend's house at 12pm for a glass or two of bubbly, then getting a minibus to the racecourse where it's ladies day, we get food, some betting tokens, some drinks, and there's also some bands playing. That finishes about 8pm, then we're off to a bar in town where we've got an area sectioned off, a buffet and some more bubbles! Will be crawling in a taxi at some point to get home I'm guessing!
Sunday I'll be recovering!!

Oooh, is that the mum that you bumped into with me?
Tonight, getting my hair done, I am going lighter baby.
Tomorrow, it is gala day in our town, they have a big parade, then the fair is here, then there is the mass pipe bands at tea time. I look a mess though nose I have invited people to ours as well for some food and drinks
Sun, I think that I will have a BBQ

DD did you get something for your hair? Have fun at the races it really is such a wicked atmosphere - I'm rather jealous! Don't forget your suncream!
Fi - yes that's her. We've been FBing for a while now and finally got an hour to meet sans kids.

No, completely forgot about it until it was too late! I do have new hair though - went hairdressers yesterday and it's a much brighter reddy pink colour than usual (usually more purple/plum but different hairdresser did it, although I did help choose the colour didn't expect it to be quite so bright!), might clash a bit with my dress! Oh yes, hadn't even thought about suncream - thanks!

Some lovely weekends planned.
I'm off work today whoop whoop and the weather is looking glorious all weekend - 26 here tomorrow which is unheard of. This morning J is having a pedal push at nursery so we are going to watch that. The rest of the day will be spent in the garden, topping up my tan and just enjoying the sun, no doubt with a few cold beers.
Tomorrow we also have a parade through the town, E is dancing in it, then there's stuff on all day in the park for the kids. Tomorrow night I'm babysitting my 7m old niece which I'm not looking forward to as she's a rubbish sleeper ha ha.
Sunday my mam is back from holiday and is having a bbq which should be good.

When H gets home tonight I'm popping round to my mums and having a drink in her garden with some other ladies (mums friends but I grew up with them so it'll be quite nice and they all act like teenagers anyway).
Tomorrow I think we are going to the Danson festival during the day and we have a 30th tomorrow night to go to. Back to the festival again all day Sunday and hope to see a band we know are there in the evening if the kids hold out that long. It's going to be lovely weather so might as well make the most of it! I'm going to be shattered come Sunday night.

Sounds like some good weekends are planned. And what a nice change for us not to be moaning about the weather
I'm off today and am doing some cleaning/tidying at the moment. I've pulled everything out in my daughter's bedroom and now face the task of putting it all back in again. Which is why I'm wasting time on here instead
Tomorrow I've got to go to the hair dressers in the afternoon, shame its on such a sunny day but at least its only a cut and blow dry so won't take very long. There's a music festival on Sunday which we might go to.
Belle my gran moved into sheltered accomodation when she was in her 80s. It actually gave her a new lease of life as there was social stuff going on and they had outings arranged. She was becoming isolated in her old flat as she was struggling to manage the stairs. In the new flat there was a lift and other people to talk to. So it actually worked out for the best.

Today H had a half day for Evies sports day but both kids were chucking up in the night so he is now off all day as we hardly got any sleep. Wont be going to sports day now though. Ive had a good sort out, and just going to nip to the shops to get a new table and chairs for the garden, then some plants and spend the afternoon in the paddling pool with the kids I hope. They are feeling and looking much brighter so wondering if its something they ate.
Tomorrow and sunday E has a birthday party both days 11-1 so will just do chores around that and maybe a bbq with our neighbours.

Been out for lunch today with H and my little boy. Tomorrow we have family coming to stay with us for a few days from Scotland so we will be going into York tomorrow afternoon and chilling out tomorrow night and then on Sunday we are planning on going to Scarborough for the day. Then not sure what our plans are for next week as H has all next week off so we are going to take each day as it comes and see what we want to do, but we are planning on going to Sundown Adventure park sometime next week and I have my glucose tolerance test booked for next Friday and the car is due its MOT next Friday.

Today I have no plans, H is off walking for the day, so just me and the kids this morning then off to my parents this afternoon. We'll probably go in the garden this morning. Tomorrow we're going to the seaside, taking my parents out for lunch for their birthdays then hitting the beach and pool. It's gonna be hot and busy!
