As you all probably know if you're on the weight loss/exercise threads I'm very unhappy about my tiny area at the moment and I've been busting a gut trying to shift it. H is well aware too. I just measured myself and (if it's not fluke) I've lost half an inch this week off my waist so an inch in total since starting. I exclaimed this as I was surprised and pleased and he just looked and said 'since when?' in a tone that suggested he doesn't believe me or something! I said 'since a week ago' and he just turned back to the tv. I felt like crying! He often does this, as though he's not listening/doesn't care I don't know. If he said that to me I'd be pleased for him. Anyway would it annoy you?

*tummy area not tiny, if it was tiny there wouldn't be an issue

Yep the reaction would annoy me, especially as you've been trying so hard. Well done on the inch loss - you should be very proud!

It would piss me off BUT my Ex was specturaly unsupportivrtive of my weight loss and I think men aren't overly great when it comes to things like this. I could never get excited about him putting carbon fibre on his car either though! Well done to you

It wouldn't annoy me but I would never expect a man to get excited about weightloss! Obviously have low expectations!!!

Thanks ladies. I think it's a shock to him as well as me that I'm being quite strict haha. He's also trying to get fit and exercises a lot so I thought he might understand but then as you say he is a man!

It would annoy me and I would say something about his lack of support.
I thought your 'tiny area' meant your lady bits haha

It would annoy me.
My H is really supportive of me when I am trying to lose weight, thankfully. I'd find it harder not having my H's encouragement.
