It was C's birthday last week and of course he was bought lots of lovely gifts. We live with the in laws and they mentioned fairly enough, that their living room was starting to resemble a toy shop. We shipped the toys upstairs but are now finding at bed time C is playing instead of sleeping. He is also starting to wake early and play when previously he would have turned over and gone back to sleep.
Do you have the same trouble? Where do you store your toys??

Do you all share the same room? If not could you move the toys from his room to your room to stop him playing with them on a morning/night?
We have a big walk in cupboard in E's room where most of the toys are stored. We also have boxes that slide under the beds in their rooms and we have a few boxes under our bed as well.
J has a tiny room so nothing is out for him to play with apart from some teddies and his Buzz and Woody at the bottom of his bed but he doesn't bother, he's more interested in his torch.

This won't help you in your current situation but we're having our loft converted in 3 weeks time to make a playroom because our front room resembles a toy shop! Would it make any difference if you put all the toys in storage boxes with lids, would he still get it all out?
C's toys have always been in his room, in boxes, with lids. J's toys are all in the play room.
