What do you have?
We always used to have a starter but then hardly anyone ate Christmas dinner because they were full so we stopped but I'm quite fancying a starter this year if we keep breakfast light.
So what do you tend to have?

My breakfast is usually smoked salmon & scrambled eggs with toasted English muffin washed down with a bottle of bubbly. My sister and H and the kids don't do salmon or eggs though - cretins! Maybe croissants and jams all round for ease and as it's still light we can do a starter.
Now I've remembered why we ditch the starter, no one ever has the same and it gets ridiculous.
Last year it was eggs benedict
This year waffles, smoked bacon and maple syrup
I refuse to do prawn cocktail despite the ils loving it lol
Last year we had scallops, not sure this year maybe soup

Don't usually have a starter, and breakfast is often croissants, and any chocolates we might have been bought.

We don't have a starter, and breakfast is usually left over dominos or Chinese, from the night before, followed by half a selection box. Pure class in our house.

We don't tend to do much for breakfast, usually some toast. Although i'm quite fancying the Christmas tree crumpets that asda are advertising, and some star shape waffles. Something small because we tend to have an early lunch.
For a starter we're having leek and potato soap. Nothing fancy, I'm not making the soup, I won't have time.

Never have had a starter. Breakfast is always croissants, pain au chocs, crumpets etc. And we pick at chocs through the morning!
