OK, I know it is slightly bizarre thinking about this considering the lovely hot weather we are enjoying at the moment but we are thinking ahead to this winter and possibly planning a little break. In the past we have been to Prague and London just prior to Christmas, both of which were really lovely. Where have you been, either here or abroad, which you really enjoyed and why?! OR have you been away for a winter break which you weren't keen on and why?
Can't believe I'm thinking of Christmas! x

How about New York?

We did Christmas markets in Cologne a few years back, which was fabulous.
I'd love to do NYC at that time of year.

We used to go to Tenerife a lot before Christmas, some winter sun and very relaxing. Just as they are putting their decorations up, it's actually quite Christmassy

We went to Florida one year just before Christmas. Disney Christmas is an experience! I loved every second of it. I would love to go to New York for Xmas but H refuses to go anywhere cold on holiday. Justifiable I suppose, considering how much rubbish weather we get normally!

We've done Florida and Disney at Christmas, also Australia.
It's very strange seeing Christmas decorations when it's hot.
I bought a whole suitcase of decs back for my Christmas tree from Florida though!
I would love to go to Christmas markets somewhere cold and really Christmassy!

Are you going with kids? If so my friend did Center Parcs last year with hers and said it was amazing :)

I've been to Lanzarote over Christmas and didn't like it. Felt wrong it being hot and being on a beach. I like the more traditional Christmas though. New York sounds amazing, I can imagine it feeling proper festive there. I'd like to go to Lapland with the kids but failing that a little lodge or cottage in the middle of nowhere with a log burning fire.
