New to the site as a member but have always found really useful information here. Hoping I can reach out to see if anyone can offer advice.
I have endo and pcos and have a procedure on Tuesday for endo removal and ovarian drilling at the same time.
My consultant gave me pills to ensure I menstruated in advance but unfortunately they didn't work. It now looks like (typically) I will be on for the procedure.
As I have been waiting 8 months for this operation (on the NHS, so not complaining about the wait), I don't want to put it off. However, I'm not sure whether menstruating will be an issue. I can't phone my consultant as she doesn't accept phone calls and when I request a call back, I inevitably don't get one.
Can I ask if anyone else has had ovarian drilling when menstruating? Or endo removal?
Would appreciate anything to help me between prepared.
