Hey ladies, I was just wondering how long you bled for after a csection? Im now 24 days post-csection and im still bleeding red blood! I haven't retained some of my placenta (already had a trip to a+e!) and i just wondered how normal this is? Im only 16 and its my first baby so its all new to me and my mum never had a csection so she doesn't have the answers like she usually does thank you mummies! xxx

Hiya, I had a c-section with my little boy, and bled for about 5 weeks. Hope that helps. If you are worried at any point though go back to your docs. Hope you're enjoying your new arrival! xxx
