You might have a bug or it might be the start of labour. Also the sickness can start off labour.
If the tightenings are labour there's nothing you can do yourself to stop them so I'd call the midwife, whatever emergency number they gave you.I was given midwife liason I think they called it.I had to use it cos I had a UTI which started contractions 6 weeks early with Matilda. They may ask you to go in and be monitored.
If you can keep paracetamol down that's okay to take which may help with the pains. They may well stop if you're laying down getting some rest,if you can do that.
How many weeks to go?This could be the start of labour,or just stronger braxton hixx as your body gets itself ready for labour though. If the sickness goes on though, definately call your midwife in the morning.
Hope you feel better soon

Do pack your bag,not right now,but have it all ready. It doesn't matter if it sits there all packed for the next six weeks. At least you'll know you have everything you need.Don't rush and do it right now,if you have to go anywhere tonight, doesn't sound like that's the case,it'll take a minute to get a few things together.Try and get some rest tonight. If the tightenings aren't regular, and they're not too painful they're probably just braxton hixx. They might be coming and going like this for another 6 weeks.
You're seeing the midwife tomorrow, she'll check everything's okay.
Hope it all goes well tomorrow
