just curious(because I'm scared to death)but how long does labour and delivery usually last for 1st time mothers? I was pretty athletic before pregnancy and my stomach is the only things that's really grown at 29weeks. I want to be able to push him out without drugs but I'm a little nervous since it's my 1st. I want to choose a really good support team but I don't have a clue as to who I should choose

Every woman, labour and delivery is different. Some women have quick labours other have long ones. There is no universal answer or indicator for this even if you are fit and healthy. Your midwife can advise you of any complications she is aware of but again she can't give you a definite answer.

my friends was in labour for 5 hours so everybody's different I agree with meme210 I actually really scared to go though labour but at the end of the day I think about the baby and how I will get to hold my first baby that I've been waitin for and I don't get scared if I think about it
