i'm so excited, just had my c section booked in for baby number two and guess what?he's going to be born on april 23rd st georges day!!my partner is now adamant he wants to call him george though ive got other ideas!
a little bit scared though of the section bit,the 1st consultant tried to talk me out of a vbac and this consultant tried to talk me out of a section...what do they suggest then i keep him in there?!forget it my pelvis cracks everytime i move,my chest is on fire and i cant even get from lying to sitting position anymore!
just been reading through the "planned c section booklet" eeeek i wish i was 9cm dilated again and begging for a section like last time!i signed my life away without even thinking!!

Much easier an elective hun
Wow I think George is fitting then, but if you don't like it-a middle name perhaps???
So glad all well for you Lara x x

Good luck,Lara.Agree with Rach,an elective section is much better than an emergency.Have only a vague recollection of scribbling my consent on a bit of paper at the point of just get him out of there. At least you can plan for childcare, plan to be off your feet for a while. You even know when. You can be prepared.
I love the name George,my Harry has George for his middle name. However as Mummy, and Mummy who has to carry and then give birth to a bay, surely you get to choose.
Anyway, hope it all goes well now.At least you have a date to look forward to.
