Aww, don't be upset. DId they give you advice on how to help? Mia's late with her speach as she can say loads of words and can make sentences but doesn't talk with people, she more announces things to them and then walks off without waiting for a response. I got really upset at first but we are working hard to get her interacting. What milestones are they? This is a great site for asking for advice on bringing on development etc. Hope you aren't feeling disheatened. Give your little boy a huge cuddle and you'll feel better. Sending you big hugs.

Mia's going to be 3 in September and Ava turned 1 in March. Aw, lots of babies take a while to sit up. If she's not refered you then she can't be that concerned. It's really sucky but you sometimes just get health visitors that have 0 people skills. I found that between midwives and health visitors it's just luck as to who you get and what they are like. Are you feeling any better now? I really wouldn't dwell on it. Poor little guy being poorly. Hope he is feeling much better. x
My health visitor explained me that my baby will work out how to make himself sit only when he will learn to crawl properly... At 8 months time that was exactly what happened! My son wasn't sitting on his own very well until he learned how to crawl, and if you say that your little one is almost crawling maybe he too will learn to sit afterwards?
