Someone, anyone please help! I can't stop my 9 month old daughter Lucy screaming. The only time she is quiet is when she is asleep. There doesn't appear to be anything physically wrong with her, no temperature, I don't think she is teething. She isn't hungry or thirsty. I have run out of ideas. As a mum to a 2 year old, Lucy and her twin brother Robert I am at my wits end. I have tried playing with her but then Robert gets jealous and she gets bored. AAAHHHHHHH!! Anyone else had this sort of thing with their children.

Lola can be a screamer, but she doesnt have the will power to keep it on for ages, she does it through boredom, had you thought about a treasure basket to try and distract her??

Lola loves chuncky jewelry, wrapping paper, bows, empty bottles with different things in to shake, boxes to hide things in, scarves, bells and so on?

hope you find a way soon, its horrible when the little monsters get the better of us!

I have 1 of those too!!!!!!!!! Jc is a devil-he screams the place down. I tried ignoring him, easier said than done when your head is pounding.

I reckon it's frustration at that age, because they start to toddle, crawl babble etc.....but don't master the skills properly( i'm no expert but think this was the case for my son)

All I did was let him play with noisy toys, try and involve him in his older brothers games and tried to talk to him quietly,he did once shut up to try and hear what I was saying!!!! Action songs are another 1 of his faves, keeps him quiet for a while-but there is only so many times you can sing 10 fat sausages!!!

I hope she calms down for you-I completely understand you hun x

Long walks are another fave of mine-wrap up and shut up time we call it!!!!!! Try and spot as many birds buses and trees as we can!!!!!
