I used them on my last baby from the age of 14 weeks until she was potty trained and I'm totally hooked!! She's the only one out of all four of my babies that never had nappy rash and I've saved myself an absolute fortune.
If I do manage to have another baby I'll deffo but using real nappies again!
Does anyone else use them?

i used bambino mio for about 5 months but then isaac figured out how to undo them which resulted in lots of leaks so we reverted back to disposables

I have tots bots bamboozles and love them!!! I also bought some onelife nappies from Kas and use those as a stop gap!!!!

Yay! I used to sell them on my website and still sell a few bits and pieces as I get them wholesale. But to be honest the best nappies I've ever used as Stuffies and they are made by my friend down the road!! I also love Swaddlebees hemp too.
If your son was undoing them maybe a different wrap might have helped?

all mine have been in disposables and never had nappy rash, I don't see how disposables or real nappies would give a rash if they are regularly changed.

Oh yeah they can. It can be a big problem. I refuse to use disposable anymore. My now 16 year old daughter's nappies are still in landfill somewhere and will still be there long after we've gone
Plus the fact they are so expensive!

he is the hudini of the baby world, he escapes nappies (re usable and disposable) car seats, pushchairs and highchairs, no matter what we do to them to 'customise' things he still escapes, i once turned round to check on him in the car and he was out his carseat, on his knees looking out of the back window! pp should use him for product testing! was thinking of trying tots bots bamboozle as the have the nappy nippa on them

as a non car driver im already doing my bit for the environment lol!! But then again my machine is already on 3times a day! So I think I would negate any environmental benefits if I was also washing 10 soiled nappies a day!!!

i use kushies and think they are great, anything with a wrap was really uncomfotable for george as he has got quite chunky thighs.
I have had to use disposables for a couple of days and he has come out in such a bad nappy rash and he's never had it before

Ah you see that's not how it works! I don't wash our clothes every day and even though there are 5 of us!!! I only do 3 or 4 loads a weeks. I had a nappy bucket and only washed every few days. If you're really interested I'll give you full details of how much better they are for your baby, your pocket and the environment. Disposables are full of chemicals!

I have just started using them on Hollie and am using good old fashioned cheap terry nappies. I got the whole set brand new for 23.50.

I am not using them to save the environment or to avoid nappy rash, as Hollie has only had a rash once. I use them because they are cheaper than disposables and are always there, no chance of running out.

I wash Bronwyn's nappies every other night, although once I have got organised with the new ones I bought from Kas I should be able to cut that down to twice a week. And now that it is warming up I should be able to dry them on the line, during the winter its generally half and hour in the tumble drier and then onto the radiator.

I use disposables at night, so 7 a week and my wheelie bin is full at the end of the week. It really scares me to think what percentage of my bin would be full of nappies if i used more disposables. I also use them when out so that I don't have to carry dirty ones around with me.

All my 3 have worn disposables and have never had nappy rash and like Nicola my washing machine is on 2/3 times a day, so I doubt I would be helping if I changed to reusables.

I've just got a trial bumble by easy peasy nappies.

For the time being I will use them on my eldest, while we're at home. But as they are a birth to potty nappies, they are huge on the twins. I'll wait for a bit to put them in the reusables.

I would say that at least 85% of my bin is nappies. And thats the only reason I am changing to reusables. If I can knock a third off what I get through, its a bonus. More often than not I cant get the general rubish in it come bin day. Also now the warm weather is coming (I wish), it'll stink to high heven.

I have made the same argument before about the amount of energy used to wash and dry them, but I dont have a problem with putting them in with other clothes. I often have to wait till I have a full load of our clothes before I can do a wash. Particulally bedding or towels, nappies can go in with these.

I wash Hollies every other day too, and have been line drying them. Although i can also put them on the radiator and they dry completely in a couple of hours. We have been using them at night too, so we have about 10 disposables left which i am going to keep for emergencies and if we are out for the whole day, to save carrying around smelly wet nappies.

my nappys take ages to dry! but they are bamboo, if i line dry it takes 2 days, radiors are a bit funny cos it depends on if there on all the time but thats any thing from a full day to 2 days, and the tumble dryer would have to be on for a full two hours to get them dry!
i wash mine twice a week. all in all, in a full week i think there's 7 washes put on (inculding nappys) and about 4 hours use of a tumble dryer. for a family of 4 i'm not sure if thats good or not?
