Over the last week Hollie has been crying in her sleep which is driving me mad as it keeps me awake at night. She cries and it trails off into a little whine, which is how i know she is asleep when she does it. I thought originally it was wind but she does it regardless of whether she brings wind up before going down. I have tried getting her, feeding her and putting her back down in the hope she will settle again. But that too doesnt work, as she latches on drinks a little bit then falls straight back asleep. So i know it isn't hunger.
She is fine in the day, but is still fighting off this cold she has had. And i really can't understand why she is doing it. Last night Ian picked her up and brought her to me at 12, i put her back and she was in with us from 2.45 onwards. When she sleeps in the day she doesn't cry in her sleep at all only at night.
Anyone who can help me i will be really grateful.

Karen xx

Hi Karen,
Sebastian does it sometimes as well (only nights) and i think its wind. I usually pick him up and he burps or even if he doesnt burp the upright position helps and then he goes to sleep.

Hi my lo cries in his sleep too, not every time but it can be at nap times too. I just think he's dreaming maybe as it's not a proper cry like he would if in pain or hungry. He laughs in his sleep too so thats why i think maybe they dreaming??

She never brings up any wind when i pick her up though which is why i dont think it is wind. She has always been a noisy sleeper whining in her sleep but this crying is keeping us all awake, and Ian keeps picking her up and waking her because he cant tell when she is asleep and crying.
