Mine did go up in size,with one exception.Don't knowif their weights had anything to do with whether they were boy or girl,possibly,but also how late they were.Mine were all late but one and she was the smallest,even though only three days early,so not really early.

I thought it was great. I was so nervous holding them because they seemed huge ;0)
1st son - 7lb 13oz, 2 weeks early.
2nd son - 7lb 14oz , 2 weeks late!
i was alot bigger with second to but bub weighed nearly same as 1st??? surprised everyone even midwife. lol.
