Hi, I bought the Graco Symbio for my son (the car seat, carrycot, toddler seat). In the instruction manual it says the recommended age to move onto the "toddler" seat is 6months however my son is 5months on the 3rd and I personally think he's ready to use it. When he's in his carry cot he is always pulling himself up by the sides! little bug. Why is there a 6month guideline?

its like this

my daughter will be a year old in 2 months. her car seat says at a year to move onto a toddler seat. nah. wont happen. as when she is a year old she will still be the small size of 9 month old.

its a guideline some 6 months old cant sit up etc etc x

I think it depends and varies on the child, there weight and size etc. I have a 1 year old who has now moved into a Silver Cross http://www.silvercross.ie/category/53-pushchairs.aspx and is fine but I wasnt sure in the begining whether it was the right thing but it was fine!

the guideline gives advice to children who beusia 6 months, you should follow the instructions of the guidelines, the company has been ascertained by considering the best for konsumenya, and to maintain the security of your baby

We got a wee Maclaren Quest, just for holidays, on ebay for £30 and it's great: http://wp.me/p2AD1r-1Q

The seller have mentioned this age bar because they don't want to get resposible for any problem if arise with your child. So, if you want you can use the car seat but if due to this age difference any problem will arise in future then at thta time you can't blame the seller for this.
