Have you got a newborn baby? We'd love to hear how you're getiing on with sleeping patterns - all tales welcome for a feature! Early risers, late risers, sleep through the night or not sleeping at all!

please mail me, Jenny, on jenny,stallard@magicalia.com

Thanks!

charlie isn't a new born anymore in fact he'll be 2 in jan but i was very lucky when he was little as he slept through the night from a week old,  but since dec last year he's not slept through the night and wakes at least once or twice a night with a lovely wake up call of 6am no matter what time he goes to bed!!! the joys of being a mummy

cripes you must have thought you were out of the woods, nightmare!

So when he was little, what do you think made  him sleep through? Did you have a strict routine, eg bath, early bed, top up feed?

And what do you do now to try and help him settle again?

from the moment we got home from hospital we had a rough bed time routine in place, and i say rough because for the first 6 weeks i breast fed charlie and at night time between 7pm and 11pm he would cluster feed and then sleep through till 7am, we were in hospital for the first week after charlie was born and he didn't sleep well at all, when we got home we slept charlie on his front and from then on we didn't look back. charlie's bedtime routine has always stayed the same its adapted in some places as he's gotten older but he pretty much has his tea, then some quite playing, then its bathtime, pj's on, bedtime story and then time for bed. we have no idea why he's waking at the moment because we've tried everything we can think of, just hoping its something he will grow out of eventually
