Thanks for the message. Hows Cameron doing, it's such a lovely age isn't it?! Does he sleep ok for you? Amber was born march 16 and is a very smiley laid back little girl her big brother adores her although he occasionally gets jealous! I put her in his old walker for the 1st time today and he flipped!! Hope to chat some more soon x

Cameron was born on 7th April and is a complete flirt with his big blue eyes and cheeky smile, he has old women oohing and aahing over him everywhere we go!!. He usually sleeps really well at night, teething at the moment so he's taken to waking at around 3am. He gets a quick feed and then he's straight back to sleep so it's not too bad! How does Amber sleep?
It's amazing how much they develop everyday. He's desperate to be on the move, he lies on his tummy and his arms and legs are flapping but he's just not going anywhere. He hasn't quite figured out how to get back off his tummy yet, but one day soon i'm going to go back to where i left him and he'll have moved!!!

Hi Dawn and Dawn(!) Just after bit of advice Ambers started rolling over at night and sleeping on her tummy. Ethan did it too but I think he was much older, about 8months. Are either of yours doing it too? Can't help but worry because of all the warnings and advice!

Cameron started rolling over and sleeping on his tummy a few weeks ago. I was really worried too and mentioned it to my health visitor, she said he would be fine and just to leave him! I must admit it was a bit nerve racking at first and i was constantly checking on him, but he really is fine!
I have friends who have a camera beside their sons cot and a monitor next to their bed. As soon as he rolls over they dash through and roll him onto his back. He's now 15 months old and has never slept through the night!!!

Hi everyone, I'm Becky and I have a 6 month old called Kai. He has slept on his tummy ever since he learnt to roll, which was about 3 months! I can't stop him as it is hte only way he will sleep. My Health visitor said it is not such an issue now he is old enough to support his head. He has been teething too, and also wakes up at about 3am for a feed. I'm sure it's only comfort really. It's nice to talk to other people who's little ones are the same age.xx

Thanks for your messages and for your advice. I was sure it was ok about Amber sleeping on her tummy but it's good to know she's not too young. She sleeps pretty well at night, has last bottle at 10 and usually sleeps through until 5 or 6. With her being my 2nd, I've been very good and not fed her if she's woken earlier than usual I made every mistake going with Ethan and he slept in bed with me breastfeeding all night!! Hope Camerons doing well and you're all enjoying the weather whilst it good!! x

Thanks for your message it was nice to have reassurance from other mums! How are you finding motherhood?! Do you go to any tots groups? With a 2year old to entertain I make sure I go out each morning! I'm lucky that there's a lot on in our area plus I take Ethan to a music class which is lovely but very expensive so not starting Amber just yet! Ambers a very laid back little girl and very smiley, I'm really enjoying the stage she's at as she's starting to recognise close family especially her brother and they have a lovely relationship. Is Kai going through the clingy stage yet? Amber;s just started but I'm trying not to let her get away with it (although I secretly quite like it that it's me she wants)!! hope to chat some more soon take care tasha x

Hope you've been enjoying the good weather.
Cameron's been an absolute horror over the weekend, his teeth are obviously really bothering him i just wish they would hurry up and come through!!

He grumps if we stay in, he grumps if we go out, in fact he's just a constant grump!!(I think it's starting to rub off on me!)
How are your two doing? Has Amber had any reaction to the banana?

We've had a lovely weekend thanks decided last minute yesterday morning to take the kids to West
Midlands Safari park it was heaving (Stupid us for going on busiest weekend) but we still loved it. We didn't tell Ethan where we were heading and his face when he saw it was priceless he was litterally gobsmacked!! Have also been visiting lots of garden centres as we are thinking of getting a pair of turtles! (we're not into the whole rabbit/guineapig thing)!! They can live for 25years so we are putting a lot of thought into it but we both really want to get them! Only done 2 days of banana with Amber as have had full days out and she reacts worse when given food in the evenings but have paid the price as she's constantly hungry, we're seeing hv in the morning getting bit wound up about it now as think it will be a bit of a battle. Poor Cameron with his teeth I used Dentinox teething gel for Ethan and it worked a treat. Try to get out anyway then his grumps won't affect you so badly!! Take care sorry about the essay!! It does get confusing! I can't believe Ethan's getting his 4th tooth Amber doesn't seem to be getting her 1st yet isn't it funny how much children vary?! Are you having any problems with feeding in regards to his teeth? Ethan had 7teeth when I was still feeding him and at the beginning he really used to bite, awful!! Hope your two are doing well not long to your hols now is it?! x (just realised that there being 2 Ethans is confusing too)!1

We're having a calpol night too! At least he's gone to sleep easily tonight it took us ages to get him off to sleep last night, in the end i had to take him out in the car to calm him down.
None of this was mentioned in the brochure!!!!!!!!!
When did Ethan get his first tooth?

Glad you had a good wk end, you've got to make the best of it when the weathers nice! I've been using Boots own teething granules today and it seems to have made a difference, when i can actually get them in his mouth(who would think a 4 1/2 month old could be so crafty!) Anyway i gave him some calpol before bed so that should be him until 7am(hopefully).

There seems to be a lot of people with 2 yr age gaps. Its great. Everyone thought I was mad (like I was the only person doing it). How silly!

Well the tooth thing is complicated as he actually got a tooth at 3 months right at the back - which went after 3 weeks - his gums re-covered it! Then he got one of the 'normal' ones to come at about 4 and a half months old. A bit earlier than i expected.

This is freaky!! Cameron also got a tooth right at the back which was then re-covered by his gum. No sign of any other teeth yet, but he seems to be in a lot of pain at the moment so i'm hoping we'll see something soon!
