Hi there,
I have recently got very much interested in childhood obesity. having two kids myself I am a bit concern about this "hot" topic.
I did quite a lot of research on that and realized that the main thing is to let your children play outside as much as possible and provide them with quality food. I did not have a problem with sweets as I tried not to have them at home. However, recently my little Andy (who is 5) has started asking me for some sweets. I bought him ones (and maybe that was a mistake). But now he is obsessed with having some sugar into everything. Whenever he comes back from his friends he says that other mums let children eat ice creams as much as they want to (probably he exaggerates a bit-manipulating me). So now I am having problems with how to avoid giving him sweets. He goes mad when I do not allow him to. Do you have any tips on how you cope with situations like this?
