My due date is 6th December 08. Anyone else close to this or am I all alone.......??

Riley was due 2nd dec but arrived on the 8th dec,I was still shopping and going out past my due date and was told by friends i was nuts,but i was quite happy.
Im sure you will get everything sorted in time,and as you will no the exact date of delivery it will be easier to.Staying in for the extra days sound good like you say.Who will have the boys when you go in.

Hi mel, jd was due on the 8th dec but didn't appear ti the 17th! i'd done all my shopping and they were all wrapped and ready, i really wanted him to come on time so his bday wasn't too near xmas but he was just too comfy

I know what you mean about bday's being close to xmas. I was desperate for Tate to be late so that his bday wouldn't be over xmas. He was due on New Years Day!! However he had other ideas and came four days early - 28th Dec. So his bday is really close to xmas but nevermind. He will have a joint party with Luka in the summer each year instead! XX

Thats nice Nicola,we are able to keep Rileys b-day seperate from xmas as with adis being the 21st he said he never wants riley to have a joint b-day,xmas pressie.
I never would.

I am also due on 6th December, so you are not alone. It is my first, so am rather scared about the birth, but I suppose it has to come out somehow!!!

Find out if I am having a boy or a girl next Thursday, so am quite excited about that.

oooh 3 december PP babies! How lovely. It will make you get organised for xmas super early!! I've already got most of tates presents sorted. Sad I know in July but I want all my shopping done and wrapped by the 1st December!!

Nicola, i've been doing a lot of my xmas shopping in the sales too!!! I've even got part of Cameron's birthday present for April next year, i think i'm turning into my oldest sister!!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaargh

Hi caroline, I'm due 5th jan but would like to be early. Jake was 3 wks early and weighed 8lb! Hope this one will be early and not late!! Will gareth be home in time? How was your 20 wk scan and did you find out what your having? Kev says he wasnts to know so he can be organised! I couldn't stop laughing coz it will be all left to me! xxx

Yes I did find out, and NO I am not telling despite numerous people trying to get it out of me!

My due date is the 19th November now! I am hoping that this one will be early too, although I feel like I need to beat 11lb 12.5oz this time!!! I think for Bronwyn to have weighed 8lb she would have needed to be delivered at about 34 weeks!!!! (or less!)

The scan went well, my little girl was taken off for a walk with one of the midwives, but the little munchkin refused to sit still for longer than about 3 seconds. The poor sonographer had mega difficulties getting the required measurements to check babies size!

After the size of Bronwyn I have another scan booked for the 24th Oct which is when Gareth is home! He should be home for the birth too and then goes from paternity leave into his Christmas leave so he should get about 7 or 8 weeks off in total!!!

You'll have to let us know what Kev does to get organised!!! He may well surprise you!!!!

Its our first baby so we're new to all of this.
Have definitely learnt that you can go completely overboard with things to buy. We've managed to resist the urge to spend a fortune. Saying that we still can't quite decide on our pram. Oh the choice !!!

I was born on the 24th December, not a great date for a birthday!!

My due date is now the 29th November, but baby may be born even earlier!!

Welcome to PP by the way! Try no to go too mad with shopping as you will find you never use half the stuff you think is essential!!!

Hi all im not due in december im due on the 6th of march.But

My birthday is the 24th of december and my brothers is on the 29th of december and my uncles was born at 12 o clock at night on the 31st of december or sud tat b the the 1st of Jan. i tink my family like xmas babys.. I hate mine being on xmas eve, my mother and father always said i wud hav 2 wait til xmas day 2 get my birthday present as day wud conbine the 2 it was the same wit my brother he wud get his on xmas day 2 and den we wud hav our birthday party on the 29th witch is his birthday.Den my uncles party on new years eve.So the month of December is very big in my family.Now wer all grow up so 2 speak wit familys of our own We all meet in my mothers house on xmas day and den my uncles on new yrs eve.It nice havin family around on xmas and new yrs.

I always do my xmas shoppin for presents tat is at the end of summer so i aint runnin around in Nov and Dec tryin 2 get dem all in and can relax in the run up t xmas and my birthday.

Sorry for going on hope all the December babys arrive save and sound in time for santa.

Hi Had a lovely baby girl called Emily on the 15th Dec 08, so believe me I know about expense and just plain chaos!
