Hi,
Can anyone give me advice on how to cut Jessica's nails!
She won't let me do it any more, if i try she just keeps pulling her hand away and i am scared of cutting her, i have tried bitting them, but they won't come off.
I had been doing it in the bath for a while, but even this doesn't work anymore! and don't get me started on trying to do her toenails!

Sorry for the ramble, but any advice would be great.
Thanks xx

Hi Simone, does Jessica still go for a nap in the daytime? If so, have you tried doing them wehn shes asleep?
Just a thought!
Hope you are well
Kas xx

Hi Simone,
Katelin is exactly the same. She is actually getting a little better but I think its because she is getting older I can distract her easier.
I had the same problem with Aaron as a baby and I did what kas suggested and it worked a treat with him.
Can you give her something she is not usually allowed to play with like the phone or car key, or even a biscuit or chocolate button?
Are you using clippers or scissors

Hi Girls,
I have not tried it when she is asleep as she goes for her sleeps awake and falls asleep herself and she has a cot bed that is deep and it is hard to get to her!
I might give it ago tonight when she is watching in the night garden, as that tends to keep her attention!

Good idea. That should keep her occupied.

Katelin loves in the night garden.
On last nights one, they all had a bump in the pinky ponk when it hit a tree, and all fell down and it upset katelin. She cried. I had to reassure her that they were all fine.
Quite sweet really.

Ahh bless her!

Its the only programe that will keep Jessica's attention.
She has a bath then sits on the floor with her milk watching it.

Hope you are ok, how are your three!

Ooh snap.
Katelin has her bath and sits on the floor watching it while drinking her milk too!!!!
I'm fine thanks, but I think Aaron has chicken pox. He had them as a very young baby so I did'nt think he would get them again, but he was off school today anyway as he had a temperature, then as he stretched, I saw a big spot on his tummy. Then checked the rest of his body and there are quite a few although they are not blistery so will have to wait and see.
Hope you are all well.
We have got katelin all the characters from ITNG for xmas.
Whats jessica getting for christmas?

hi lucyanne, i hope Aaron doesnt have chicken pox, poor thing, but it is poss to get them twice. i had them when i was a toddler, then again when i was 13. mad i know!!
hope he isnt feeling too bad.

we thought Niamh had chicken pox in march, so we took here straight to the docs and it turned out it was only a viral infection, so still waiting.

hope you are all ok

Hi Simone,

We weren't sure whether Charl would like a pushchair or not. We got one from Wilko's, £2.50 in the sale and she loves it. She doesn't like the doll she puts scruff (her dog teddy) in it and pushes him about! It's quite funny to watch her.

Hi Simone.
Aaron does have chickenpox, but he is not too bad and the spots are few and far between at the moment.
I would get Jessica a dolly and pram. We got katelin them when she first started walking and she loves it. She calls the dolly bubba.
save the kitchen for when she is slightly older, 2nd birthday maybe.
Tasha put a site for ITNG toys from the BBC shop on a post in the lounge,ITNG . Have you seen it? Its really good.We got katelins bits from there.
How many did you manage to cut, before she got fed up?

Managed to cut one hand before she got fed up, will do the other one tomorrow.

Hope Aaron feels even better tomorrow and the spots don't get to bad xx
