ok so I should know all this i know now that im on baby no. 3, but my first two were good sleepers. I think Luka may be waking through hunger now. not sure, but he's not eating so well at dinner time. Tate is a monkey getting up and down from the table at dinner time, and luka has now started getting restless in his highchair at teatime so doesn't end up finishing. We usually eat around 5.30 they then have a bath anytime between 6.30/7pm sometimes later.

Anyway im thinking of giving luka porridge before bed to fill him up I know a couple of you have tried this. Do you give before or after bath? he will get it everywhere after his bath. I just want him to sleep, he's in Toms room this week as he's away with his dad, and Tate has gone back to sleeping way past 7am again as he's not disturbed by Luka. so I really want to get Luka sleeping better...Sorry for long waffling post. But i need help im tired!

I tried this when Bronwyn was about 6 months in an attempt to get her to sleep through!

I gave her it after her bath and before her milk! However, you could do it as supper just before his bath!

I found it made no difference what so ever!! But that is just me!!

I gave Jessica weetabix after her bath, we used to sit in front of the Telly, so that i fed it to her and it definitely did the trick for us x

Good luck Nicola.

Cameron was about 9 months when we tried this, i gave him his bath, then his milk and then topped him up with some porridge.

Is Luka still having milk mid afternoon?? I'm asking because Cameron recently went through a phase where he wasn't interested in his food at dinner time so i cut out his afternoon feed so he was hungrier by dinner time.

Hope it works Nicola, Good luck.  ( Wait till the 'outlaws' have gone though, as Luka might scare them off and you can get rid )
