hi...i would like to return to work on a partime basis which wouldnt be a problem during term time,my 2 youngest would attend nursery, but during school holidays i would really stuggle as i would have to find child care for 5 more children.im really torn because money wise i would be paying my wages out on childcare, child tax credits would only really cover the youngest children because your cant claim for children who only need child care in the holidays.hubby has a reasonable job,but with seven kids could do with afew extra pennies,if anyone as any info on homeworking or similar i would love to know. alison.morley97@ntlworld.com

Hi Alison

Could you let me know if you managed to sort out your problem? I'm in a similar situation myself - I have five children, I gave up work last year to be a full-time mum and whilst I love being at home to help them I find myself getting bored and missing adult conversation!! I can't afford to work full time because of childcare arrangements, but would love to do something part-time - have looked on the internet for things to do working from home etc but nothing is exciting me yet!!!! any ideas?

You could consider working in a school that way you get the school holidays off.

Hi Alison, have you thought about working from home with Usborne books, its great in the fact that you can do as little or as much as your own commitments allow.
I have 5 children and opted after the birth of my daughter in 2005 to launch my own work from home business, I combine this with Usborne books.
Why not browse the information and see what you think

If you have any questions or would like any more information please do get in contact.
I hope you find something suitable for you and your family

Hi Kellie,
As I already mentioned to Alison have you considered Usborne Books at Home, as it really is a great work from home venture. Within my own team I have mums who are just looking to work part time as a hobby right through to mum launching their own full time work from home career with Usborne.
You can sell to family, friends, schools, libraries, doing a combination of parties, stalls, events, or direct catalogue sales
Heres the information about it, let me know if your interested, Its something that you would hopefully find interesting and rewarding. You would also be entitled to FREE books which is great, as I know myself with 5 how pleased my own are with their books

Hi All - Like Tailswishing, I also do Usborne Books from home which enables me to look after Kieran full time and he comes to all events with me, which he loves, especially as some are in places like soft play centres etc!! What I like about Usborne was not having to buy stock or anything. I didnt and have now got crates of books!!! Its a cheap start-up, usually £38 for £100+ starter kit of books etc but is £19 if you sign up in August.
Other work from home opportunities can be found on www.mumsandworking.co.uk
Be careful though if you do decide to go for a work from home option and some are scams. Usborne are registered with DSA (Direct Selling Association) and have been running for 30yrs. If you find another such opportunity, check it out carefully!
Hope you find something that works for you!

Has anybody tried Kleeneze. I have been a Kleeneze distributor for 2 years and have been treated to a 5* all expenses paid trip to Budapest and am due to go on another trip to Marakech in November. I do this around a 7yr old and a 6mth old. My baby doesn't like being indoors now. All we do is go out and deliver catalogues one day go and collect them the next (it takes 1hr to do 100 books) then most of the work is done from home until we deliver the orders. If anyone is interested let me know
