Whilst pregnancy is mostly a positive experience, it is common for women to also feel nervous, anxious, worried or to find it hard to relax.

As part of my doctoral research in Clinical Psychology, I am interested in talking to pregnant women who have worried arising in pregnancy, and their partners, about how they support each other.

Your experiences may help professionals understand how they can best support women who have worries during pregnancy.

To find out more about the research or if you and your partner are interested in taking part, please contact me on:

partnersupport@live.co.uk

Thank you

Hannah Levy

I think it's good to know that it's normal that pregnant women might have anxieties. I'm pregnant as well and I worry a  lot about my family, my future life, but also about the health of my baby of course... and I have to force myself to stop thinking about this stuff all the time!

Thanks for your reply Natalie. I think it is very common for women to have worries during pregnancy. I imagine there may be many women reading your post who have similar experiences.

I am still interested in hearing from women and their partners. If anyone reading this feels they might be able to help with my research, please feel you can contact me on the email address above.

Thanks,

Hannah

Hi Dawn

Thanks for your response. It sounds like there's been lots of things to think about in pregnancy. It can be very difficult when its feels like there's so much playing on your mind. I have heard from other women who share the worries that you have talked about.

Please let me know if you and your partner would be interested in taking part in my research. I am really keen to hear from women with worries like the ones you described.

Thanks

Hannah
