Hi Ann,your post is a little old but if you happen to look again, I did have this after my first, and the hospital I gave birth in give you a booklet with exercises to do to get the muscles to return to normal position, I was doing them along with pilates and then fell again with my second so they never really got chance to go back to normal but were on the way!Anyway the exercises were sit ups (just raising shoulders and head off floor) but on the up movement they say to hold your arm across muscles to push them back towards the middle, alternating sides.
