Hi All.

I'm Trish, nrly 29 and married to Paul 30.

We have a little boy called Adam who is 21mths old and was born at 32weeks after a very near arrival at 26weeks.

I found out on 12th that I am infact pregnant with no.2!!

We have been trying for pretty much the yr and I really didnt think I had caught this month after having lots of BFNs. I got my BFP 5 days late.

I am due on 18th July although expecting an early arrival again. not expected to get beyond 35weeks.

I have uterus didelphys (complete double uterus and double cervix) and have had 4 prev mcs.

I am having a scan on 30th November at exactly 7weeks to determine which side I am pregnant on and to check all is ok.

I am very nervous and am constantly on knickerwatch!

Feeling very tired all the time and queasy.

Look forward to getting to know you all

Hi Trish,

Thanks for filling us in. I really hope this pregnancy goes well for you.

Just out of interest, does it make a difference as to which side you are pregnant on? Sorry for the question.

Anyway, I'm Zoe, 28 married to James with Jack and Charlotte.

Wishing you good luck.

Zoe xx

Hi Trish, and congratulations on your pregnancy. I am also pregnant with number two after 15 months of trying, thought it would never happen, and also wondering if I will deliver early as I had my first at 34 weeks for no reason. I didn't realise how scared I was until I found myself rushing to the loo at every twinge whilst at my parent's place last week which is where I went into labour last time. I am 24 weeks now. What does having two wombs entail for a pregnancy? What are the complications? I hope you don't mind me asking but I have never spoken to someone who has this although I was aware it was possible. Can you tell us a bit more, if it isn't too personal?

hi ya, thanks for your replies.

I was pregnant in my left side when I had Adam, so we know that I can stretch a bit on that side also that it is viable.

I have had a mc on my right side in the past.

Generally having 2 wombs means having less room for teh babies to grow. more restricted. Also at risk of falling pg in the other side whilst x weeks on the other side.

I still find it a shock that I am pg really.

Adam was born at 32weeks. very nearly 26 weeks. he ran out of room to grow. i leaked fluid from before 30wks and then had increased pressue in the cord
