Hi. I'm a journalist (and mum) and I'm putting together a feature on natural sex selection for PP magazine. If you have used any method, natural or otherwise (even an old wives' tale) to help you influence the sex of your baby, I'd really like to hear from you asap. All it would take is a 5-min chat and for you to provide a jpeg photo of you and your family. My deadline is looming fast, so please get in touch via my email address: hpereira8@aol.com

I really hope to hear from you soon. Thanks.

Hello, colleague! I am a journalist too. I did not read text about choosing sex of baby in PP. But I was told these methods:

1. Rather simple way to choose the desirable sex of the child called a dietetical method.
It is considered, that for conception of boys future mother have to eat a food with predominance of ions of potassium and natrium and in her food must be few ions of calcium and magnesium. E.g. It is preferably meat, potatoes, sausages, legumes, peaches, smoked products etc.
For girls - it has to contain a lot of ions of calcium and magnesium and in this food must be few ions of potassium and natrium. You have to use dairy produce and greens.

You need this diet from beginning your menstrual cycle to the moment of assumed conception

2. This method is based on the theory of "updating" of blood: sex of future baby depends on updating of blood of the father and the mother. The updating itself depends on date of their birth. Blood cycles turn-over are various for men and women and have the certain periods (for men - 4 years, and for women - 3 years). Followers of this method suppose that the condition of blood changes from a maximum - the beginnings of a cycle to a minimum - at the end of the cycle. And they think that more young blood is more strong blood. Followers of the method considered this factor determines sex of future baby, i.e. more strong blood predetermines sex of child. Future baby will have the same sex that has his parent with more young blood.

Unfortunately, nobody gives guarantee for this methods.
