Hello to all the lovely ladies on here,

My hubby and I have been trying to conceive since June this year after 10 years on the pill. I've been up and down cause my periods are so irregualr I haven't known if I'm coming or going. As a result of this I went to doctor after christmas cause AF turned up on Boxing day (3 weeks after the last time) and she did blood tests. They all came back normal but due to irregularities etc she referred me yesterday to hospital.... which I was kind of pleased about in the hope of getting something done.

Anyway.........

Counting 28 days from last time AF was due today but surprise surprise no show so I did a test and I've had a very faint pink line on a cheap test from access diagnostics (this has never happened before and I've done a few!) So, I did a boots one and that didn't really show much but there is possibly a very faint line. Now my heads in circles. Am I or not... I want to believe I am but am too scared to believe it incase of being let down!!! Argh!!!

Hi Kate
Welcome to pp
My name is Simone and i am mum to Jessica.
It sounds like you could be pregnant, but i would go and buy a clear blue digital test, they are pricey but very good as it showed positive on the day my period was due!
I wish you luck in ttc and do keep us posted.

Thanks all for the messages. I shall go and get one. I'm away for a couple of days now though so I'm tempted to see if I can persuade myself into holding on till I come home on Sunday so that it may be a bit more definate...?! Can I do it is the question!

Hi Kate

I was exactly the same as you, i used a boots test but couldn't tell for sure what the result was. I then went and bought a clear blue digital like the others suggested and it was a very clear pos, they are quite expensive but i think they're well worth it.

Good luck and let us know how you get on xx
