    Hi ladies,

I am new to this forum but have been using Babyexpert since last year. I managed to get PG but miscarried is Oct, since then I have been having problems. They suspect now that I may have PCO's, I have noticed from my BBT that my temp seems to drop twice like I am OVing but only the 2nd time is when I am actually OVing. Has anyone else with PCO's noticed this?

It may just be my stupid body but just wanted to check! I kinda feel like I am loosing my mind sometimes

    Hey Mel
I do BBT and have PCOS I am not sure how much help I will be to you. I don't normally see two peaks however I would say my chart is not always that easy to decipher.

Are you using fertility friend as they have a function where you can see other charts - PCOS is one of their categories .

Have you had an ultrasound to look at your ovaries yet?

Finally I am so sorry about the MC such an awful thing to happen.

    Take care

    Hi J-Jenko,

Thanks for your response :\) I have used Fertility Friend previously but didnt carry on using it after my MC - I didnt realise they had one esp for PCOS, i shall have a look - thanks hun.

I have had an ultrasound to look at my ovaries, I know its quite difficult to see but she could count over 10 little black dots on each ovary so I am due to have a blood test to check my hormone levels on the first 3 days of my next AF.(whenever that will be)

Looking at the symptoms of PCOS I have convinced myself that I have them. What signs do you have J-Jenko if you dont mind me asking?

Bless ya, yes it was very difficult having a MC - I just knew something wasn't right! sadly its just one of those things.

    Hi,

Im really sorry about the mc, that must be an awful thing to go through.

I cant help you with the temp droping as dont moniter this myself, Im not even sure im ovulating at all at the moment, have started on clomid to help with this, but can give you some info on the pcos - I have been diagnosed with this, My signs were irregular/non existant periods, and darker hair above lip/fore arms/tummy (this i admit is hardly noticable on me, but i know this is more of a problem for others) and my ultrasound showed 'cysts' on my ovaries. They also said you only have to have 2 of these three to be diagnosed with pcos as at first i just had the unwanted hair & irregular periods as the cysts didnt show on my first scan. They also metioned if can effect your weight, genrally they say woman with pcos are overweight or can be really skinny like victoria beckham (she has pcos) but tbh im just about correct weight so that isnt really a sign, its just the consultant i saw explained this to me. Hope this helps xx

    Hey Mel
As Laura says mainly the irregular periods, have really obvious cyts on ultrasounds. I do struggle to control my weight but am normal BMI but I need to exercise nearly everyday to stay in my jeans.
I found PCOS and your fertility by colette harris and theresa cheung (you can get on amazon) pretty comprehensive in terms of diet and medication
on fertility friends in the compare charts section you can pick ones from the gallery with PCOS.

This is great ladies, thank you very much for your help. I have noticed since I came off the pill over a year ago that I do have alot more hair growth than before and it grows quick. I am 5'8 and 10st so prob about normal for my height, although if I didnt have my doggie and didnt eat a good diet I could easily put weight on quickly. I suffer with pain too, normally during OV and lots of lower back pain.
I'm hoping my AF wont be too long as I want to have the blood tests to make sure for def its PCOS, but I have a feeling it is.

Goodluck to you both and thanx once again :\)
